About Beneath the Arch
Beneath the Arch Concert series presents up to seven concerts each season - usually three before Christmas and four in the new year. Our season runs from September to April with eclectic musical performances ranging from blues to bluegrass, contemporary to classical, with emphasis on rising Albertan and Canadian performers. Our professional sound engineer ensures your listening pleasure.
Beneath the Arch is a non-profit society operated by a Board of Directors and an army of dedicated volunteers. We are based in Turner Valley, Alberta, a 40 minute drive southwest of Calgary. The Board of Directors is elected annually at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) held in May. This year's AGM is being held at 6 pm, Friday, May 25th at the Sheep River Library. Pizza and refreshments will be served and awards will be presented to our bursary winners. The business portion of the meeting will begin at 7 pm. All volunteers and season pass holders and those interested in our next season are invited to attend.
